Tourists are spoiled for choice with accommodation in Füssen. There is a wide range of hotels, guesthouses and apartments starting at 2-star to 4-star. Many are in the delightful town of Füssen, but others are in tiny outlying villages such as Schwangau, Hohenschwangau, Hopfen am See and Pfronten. Almost all offer breakfast inclusive.

Four and Five-Star Hotels in Füssen

For those who want to go all-out, the Hirsch offers ‘Motif-rooms’ dedicated to various famous people such as King Ludwig II or Queen Marie or even the violin makers of Füssen. For the 2011 season, such splendid rooms start at 153 Euros in the low season and rise to 183 Euros in the High Season (April 1 – Oct 31 and Dec 23- Jan7). A standard double bedroom (with breakfast included) at the Hirsh starts at 123 Euros to a top of 148 Euros.

Another romantic and stylish hotel is the 4-star Hotel Sonne, which offers saunas, infrared cabins and steam rooms plus massage and cosmetics treatments and a gym. It has two restaurants and a beer garden. Double room prices range from 111 Euros to 175 Euros, depending on room theme and season.
