Ghost Town In West Virginia

Although it is not as well-known for wine production as other states, West Virginia is actually home to several quality wineries. If you happen to be traveling through the Mountain State, or if you have already planned a vacation there, then be sure to stop at any one of the splendid wineries that you can find in the southern part of the state.

Daniel Vineyards

If you want to taste some of the finest wine produced in West Virginia, then be sure to visit Daniel Vineyards, which produces wine made from grapes grown right on the vineyard. They grow a wide variety of grapes, including reds (such as St. Vincent and Marquette), whites (such as Chardonel and Cayuga), and a number of other varieties. They also host an annual Spring Wine Festival, which is an excellent opportunity to try some of the delicious wines and sample the hospitality for which this state is famous. The festival is usually held in June.
